Set up two-factor authentication (2FA)
Protect your account with a second factor via an authenticator app.
Enable 2FA
In security settings, start setup and scan the QR code shown with an authenticator app (e.g. a TOTP app on your phone). To confirm, enter one current code from the app.
From then on, TermShelf asks for this one-time code at every sign-in.
Recovery codes
During setup you receive a one-time list of recovery codes. Store them safely — if you lose your device, they restore access. You can regenerate the codes in security settings at any time; the old ones then stop working.
Disable 2FA
Security settings let you remove two-factor authentication entirely. After that, your password alone is sufficient again — we recommend keeping 2FA on.
