Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by ITz-Easy Tobias Itzel in connection with the use of the TermShelf platform at https://termshelf.com.
Description of Services
Core Service
TermShelf provides a platform for Legal Content Operations. The service includes:
- Central management of legal documents (e.g. legal notice, privacy policy, terms of service, cookie policy, withdrawal policy)
- Workspace variables and snippets for reusing clauses across multiple brands and websites
- Per-brand, per-locale, per-market and per-site overrides
- Public Delivery API for serving hosted documents to connected websites
- Version and publication management with preview
Data Storage
Important notice: TermShelf stores the documents, snippets, variables, versions and related workspace data that you create. The Public Delivery API serves the respective published states to connected websites. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
Usage Requirements
Eligibility
Use of the platform is permitted for natural and legal persons. By using the platform, you confirm that you are of legal age or have the consent of a legal guardian.
User Obligations
You agree to:
- only submit content for which you hold the necessary rights
- keep your login credentials confidential
- not perform automated access (bots, scrapers) without express permission
- not use the service for unlawful purposes
- ensure that the legal texts you publish are appropriate for your own websites and brands; TermShelf does not provide legal advice
Quotas and Fair Use
The scope of functions may be subject to quotas depending on the selected plan (e.g. number of websites/properties, included users, delivery or API requests, PDF requests, scans or further limits). The applicable quotas follow from the plan or contract description and may change for the future.
Insofar as the service provides application programming interfaces (APIs) or automated delivery endpoints, these may only be used within the scope of the respective plan and the agreed purposes. We may apply rate limits, quotas, caching and technical protective measures.
Prohibited in particular are abusive use, circumventing security or quota mechanisms, automated extraction (scraping) without authorization, generating excessive load, and reselling the services outside the agreed purposes. The cache, availability and error behavior of the interfaces may change for technical reasons; technical delivery does not constitute a legal review of the delivered content.
Liability
Limitation of Liability
The liability of ITz-Easy Tobias Itzel is limited as follows:
- In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of material contractual obligations
- Liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for the contract
- Liability for indirect damages and lost profits is excluded
Exceptions
These limitations of liability do not apply to:
- Damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health
- Intentional or grossly negligent conduct
- Mandatory statutory liability provisions
Prices and Payment
Pricing Model
Current prices are displayed on the pricing page. Prices include the applicable statutory value-added tax (for consumers).
Payment Processing
Payment is processed via Stripe. Upon payment, you receive access to the selected plan.
Availability and Changes
Availability
We strive for high availability of the platform but cannot guarantee uninterrupted accessibility. Maintenance work will be announced in advance where possible.
Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to change or expand the functionality of the platform at any time. Material limitations will be announced with reasonable notice.
Beta and Preview Features
Individual features may be marked as beta or preview features. Such features may be changed, restricted or removed at any time. No warranty is given for their permanent availability; a business-critical dependency on them should not be established without an express agreement.
Termination and Data Deletion
After termination of the contract, access to the service may be restricted or ended. Your data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with the technical and contractual deletion periods, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Invoice and payment data may be stored for longer for commercial and tax law reasons. Residual data contained in backups is overwritten or deleted as part of the backup rotation.

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
Insofar as we process personal data on behalf of the customer as part of providing the service, the parties conclude a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; this is provided on request or forms part of the contract.
The customer remains responsible under data protection law for the content and integrations it enters or connects. An overview of the subprocessors used is provided on request or in the customer area.
Support and Contact
Support and contact take place by email. The scope of support may depend on the selected plan or an individual agreement. Specific response times are only promised insofar as this is expressly agreed in the contract.
Final Provisions
Applicable Law
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Place of Jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, the registered office of ITz-Easy Tobias Itzel.
Severability Clause
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions with effect for the future. We will inform you of material changes.
