What is TermShelf?
TermShelf is a Legal Content Operations system. You create, version and publish your legal texts – such as your privacy policy, legal notice, terms of service, withdrawal policy and cookie policy – in one central place and deliver them to any number of websites and apps.
How do I embed my legal texts in my website?
Through the TermShelf Public Delivery API. You publish a document in TermShelf and fetch its content via the API – including the date it was last updated. Integration takes just a few lines of code.
Can I maintain the same legal text across multiple brands and languages?
Yes. TermShelf separates content from brand and language: with variables and snippets you maintain shared text once and override only the brand-specific parts – per brand and per language.
How do drafts, versioning and publishing work?
You work on a draft and can preview it at any time. Only when you publish is a new, immutable version created and delivered via the API. This makes it traceable which version was live and when.
What plans are available?
TermShelf is billed per website. You can find the available plans and prices on our pricing page.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account at any time: Go to Settings → Danger Zone.
