Who is TermShelf for?
TermShelf is a B2B SaaS for Legal Content Operations, intended exclusively for companies, freelancers, agencies and operators of digital offerings (SaaS, shops, platforms). Contracts are concluded only with entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB, legal entities and partnerships with legal capacity. Consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB are excluded from use.
What does TermShelf bill for?
Pricing scales with the number of active brands — i.e. brands for which TermShelf manages, publishes, delivers, or checks legal texts for relevant changes — plus your monitored websites (live checks, drift detection, WebsiteChange reviews) and your delivery volume. Each plan includes a fixed seat allowance (Free 1, Starter 3, Professional 10, Business 25, Agency 50).
Are legal texts, legal advice or warning-letter protection included?
No. TermShelf creates no legally binding content, does not replace legal advice, and provides no “Abmahnschutz” (warning-letter protection) or warranty for the substantive correctness of your legal texts. You bring your own texts, reviewed internally or externally — for example from law firms, in-house legal teams or specialized legal-text providers. TermShelf helps you version, approve, deliver, evidence and live-check those texts.
What happens after the Professional trial?
After the 30-day Professional trial, the plan automatically reverts to Free unless a paid plan is chosen.
What is Transactional Legal Text Delivery?
TermShelf delivers legal texts not only to websites but also to transactional systems — as HTML snippets for mailings and checkout flows, as JSON for your own templates, or as versioned PDFs to attach to order, contract or registration emails.
Are the quotas listed binding?
Specific limits for publications, scanner runs, API calls, and webhooks are set per plan and may change. They appear on this page as "per plan limit".
Does TermShelf offer enterprise terms?
