Detect and fix content drift
Drift occurs when the live version diverges from the approved one — here’s how to fix it.
Detect drift
With content drift, the version visible live differs from the approved one. The scanner shows the concrete difference as a normalized text comparison with before/after — including hints such as the URL that was checked.
Fix drift
If the divergence is because a newer version hasn’t been served yet, a republish is usually enough. For externally maintained channels, reconnect the served source to the approved version.
