Edit the draft
Changes happen in a draft that does not touch the live state at first. You can work on it calmly until it’s ready.
Approve
If the review workflow is active, the draft goes through an approval. On approval it becomes an immutable version.
Publish
The approved version is published precisely — for selected targets of site, language, market, and profile. After that it’s retrievable through delivery.
